Damaging Commotions
“Internet is a blessing in disguise.”
“It’s the break through that we have got which can change the world.”
These were profound words which were said by many profound individuals in this world. These words may have proved true around the world and in our country also but according to me nowadays it has just become a medium by which execrable content are spread around.
Internet boom has definitely happened in our country with better connectivity and the recent inclusion of Jio into the market but people seem to have lost their minds when it comes to content spread over the internet. Content which go unmonitored on the internet are left at the discretion of the viewers to decide whether they are good or not. This absence of censorship in contents often gives users unwanted freedom.
Though this freedom which I am talking about is good as users who are unable to pass their content under the TV censorship rules are definitely creating a space for themselves and they are driving the viewer’s crazy with their bold contents but there are also users who created commotion on the scene and unfortunately they also get famous because of these stupid acts which they perform and people in order to troll them popularize their act by repeating their acts. This gives these “creatures” a new confidence and they come up with another one of their unbearable content which makes us doubt our existence in this era which was meant to be prosperous and wise with the advent of new technologies and innovations.
The ruckus that they create with their unbearable content cannot be expressed with words. I am personally very hurt with these things and how these people get their energy for doing these kind of work.
I don’t want to name anybody but I just want to ask where that wisdom of the people is. Have they become so stupid so as to react to these abominable characters on the internet? They describe themselves as artists but if get a chance to meet them I will just ask them one thing that whether they go through their own content before uploading that on the internet. How are these people encouraged to do such things?
These people get their inspiration from us. If shouting the lyrics in college campuses can’t give them an impetus then what can. As commonly said if you react to childish deeds of children then they continue doing it. If we simply stop reacting to their acts then they will definitely stop doing these things.
The very base of sagacity has been hit by people who are such kind of things.
Wisdom needs to be spread among the people and there is urgent need of this as acts such as this cannot continue on the internet which is making it an unbearable space to indulge in.
Many people were supporting the acts of these people saying that they came from poor families and this is just an attempt to showcase their talent and to support them. But this is not the right way. By this I mean that this is nothing other than unwanted publicity by making a joke of the profound art practiced by others. They can find other ways or better themselves in the said field and then give it a try. We have come across cases such as these but in those cases the people were really good at what they were doing.
Internet is a place where good and raw talent have been encouraged from time to time provided they are but seeing people encouraging these acts definitely saddens me. It’s a platform where people get together to discuss important topics and after things like being spread on the internet makes it a disappointment.
These things are definitely creating damaging scenes on the trot which brings down its name and somewhere hampers the country’s reputation also because it’s a field with no barriers and is accessible to everyone.
I only pray that the condition improves.
